MJ Facts Is Offline – But It Might Return

MJ Facts Is Offline

Oct 21, 2025

Around a month ago, the website MJFacts.com stopped responding. It appears the hosting has expired and, as yet, the owner has not renewed it.

The good news is that the domain name remains active and is registered until September 2026. This means that if the owner chooses to renew the hosting, the site could be restored swiftly—assuming a backup of the WordPress installation exists.

Unfortunately, there’s no clear indication that this will happen any time soon, or indeed at all. The site hasn’t seen any meaningful updates since the early release of Leaving Neverland in 2019, and the associated Twitter account has been dormant for years.

That said, the owner did post a tweet roughly five years ago apologising for the site’s downtime, explaining it was due to forgetting to renew the hosting. They jokingly suggested that someone should remind them in five years to renew it again.

@RealMJFacts

Apologies for the website being temporarily down. The domain and hosting have been renewed for the next five years so remind me in October 2025 to renew them.

So, optimistically, this could simply be another case of forgetfulness—and the site may yet return.

However, there’s also a strong possibility that it won’t. The owner may have moved on, reprioritised, or—worst case scenario—passed away. The debate over Michael Jackson’s innocence or guilt may no longer be their concern.

If that’s the case, it would be a genuine loss. MJ Facts was one of the earliest, if not the very first, websites to critically examine Jackson’s behaviour and challenge the misinformation propagated by his apologists.

Thankfully, the site is still accessible via the Wayback Machine, and I’ve personally archived all its pages to my PC, including the full set of 2005 documents.

If the site doesn’t reappear and the owner cannot be contacted, I intend to rebuild and re-upload it myself. This won’t be a quick task—I’ll wait at least six months before beginning the process.

In the meantime, let’s hope the owner is still around and decides to bring the site back online. If not, I’ll start making plans to revive it sometime next year.

Stay tuned.
